Madonna has opened up about her recent health scare, revealing that she spent 48 hours in an induced coma.
In June, the 65-year-old singer was hospitalized for a bacterial infection. Speaking about the incident during a recent concert in Brooklyn (via TMZ), Madonna revealed that her friend, Shavawn, found her passed out on a bathroom floor. “I don’t even remember… I woke up in the ICU,” she said.
Madonna thanked Shavawn as well as her Kabbalah teacher for remaining by her side during her time in the ICU. She also joked that it took a near-death experience to get all of her children together in the same room.
