The 2024 lineup for Cruel World Festival has been revealed, with Duran Duran serving as the headliner. Blondie and The Jesus and Mary Chain will also appear at the one-day festival, which returns to Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on May 11th, 2024.
Other notable acts slated to appear at the nostalgia festival include Interpol, Simple Minds, Placebo, Soft Cell, Adam Ant, Ministry, Gary Numan, DREAMCAR, Lol Tolhurst x Budgie, and Tones and Tails, who will be reuniting for the first time since 1984. Ministry’s set will hearken back to their original new wave sound with performances of songs from their first two albums, With Sympathy and Twitch.
Tickets to Cruel World 2024 go on sale Friday, December 8th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. PT via the festival’s website. Available passes range from General Admission to VIP to top tier Clubhouse access. Registration is ongoing.
