Stray Kids have canceled their set at this weekend’s Global Citizen Festival in New York City after three members of the K-pop group were injured in a car accident on Wednesday.

According to a statement from their label JYP Entertainment, Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin were involved in a “minor collision” and were immediately examined at a hospital, where it was determined that they had sustained “mild muscle pain and bruises.” They have been advised to “receive conservative treatment for the time being” and have thus been pulled from their scheduled performance.

However, three members of Stray Kids — Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN — will step in and perform as the subunit 3RACHA at the Central Park festival on Saturday, September 23rd.

Stray Kids are coming off a win for Best K-Pop at the 2023 MTV VMAs for our previous Song of the Week “S-Class,” which they also performed at the show.

Earlier this month, Megan Thee Stallion pulled out of her headlining set at Global Citizen Festival due to “an unforeseen scheduling conflict.” Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ms. Lauryn Hill remain as headliners alongside BTS member Jung Kook, who will be performing solo.
