Jung Kook of BTS took over The Tonight Show on Monday, where he performed “Standing Next To You” and tried New York pizza for the first time.

Speaking in both English and Korean, the BTS member spoke about his new album, Golden, including the origins of its title and the themes appearing throughout. Asked about the possibility of a solo tour, Jung Kook said he needs to record more songs before he heads out on the road. “Of course I want to do a world tour, but I don’t think I have enough songs for that [yet],” he explained. “So I want to complement them more and make more songs, and maybe when I’m ready I can do the tour in full swing.” However, he will be performing a livestream concert from Jangchung Arena in Seoul on November 20th.

As he was in New York, Jung Kook also got to experience eating New York pizza for the very first time, and gave his slice a rave review.

Later in the episode, he performed “Standing Next to You.”
