Drag Race superstar Trinity the Tuck can’t get enough of the bonkers campiness that pervades Death Becomes Her. The queer classic work of cinema remains one of her all-time favorites thanks to the deliciously over-the-top performances by Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn, the iconic fashion, and the ridiculous story.

On this episode of The Spark Parade, the artist talks about why the film has had so much influence over her taste and performance style. What’s more, she goes into the depth of the film’s messaging and why she thinks members of the queer community can relate to it so easily.

“Behind every story of a villain, you get a peek that, yeah they’re villains, but you don’t get the full backstory of what they went through to become the person that they are,” she explains. “A lot of queer people can relate to that because we are always villainized.”
