While hot summer nights are most strongly associated with big country music concerts, cooler weather doesn’t mean tours are ending. In fact, many of the most exciting artists in the country and Americana space are about to embark on seasonal treks, including modern stars like Jason Isbell and Zach Bryan and icons like Bob Dylan and Lucinda Williams. To make sure you don’t miss any of your favorites, we’ve rounded up 11 country, folk, and bluegrass tours you can’t miss in fall 2023.

Billy Strings
Bluegrass titan Billy Strings will head back out on the road this fall for more North American and Europe dates in support of his 2023 collaborative release, ME/AND/DAD. The trek begins with an appearance at Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond festival and continues with several dates on the West Coast and Midwest. He then hops over to Europe for a slew of November dates, but will be back in the US for some special shows in December. Regardless of where he plays, Billy Strings always knows how to deliver with a guitar on his back.

Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan is keeping his “Never Ending Tour” alive with new North American dates this fall. The storied folk musician will kick off his tour in Kansas City at the start of October, and will wrap the tour at the end of the month in Schenectady, New York. Though the run is brief, it’s a great chance to see an American folk icon play songs from his extensive, legendary catalogue.
Carly Pearce
Before heading out on the road supporting Tim McGraw next spring, Carly Pearce will embark on the “Country Music Made Me Do It Tour” this fall. The tour kicks off in New York City on October 5th, followed by stops to Boston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping in Detroit on November 18th. Her latest release was the 2023 live album 29: Written in Stone (Live from Music City), so a Carly Pearce show will certainly be an event to remember.
Chris Stapelton
Chris Stapleton resumes his “All American Road Show” in October with a string of dates on the East Coast and in the Southwest. Kicking off in Charlottesville, Virginia on October 5th, Stapleton will continue his serenades throughout the month, concluding with a Dallas date on October 27th. Each date will be opened by Margo Price, and the latter dates include a similarly affecting vocalist in Allen Stone — so it’s safe to say Stapleton’s tour will be a night of warm, evocative tunes.

Jason Isbell
Jason Isbell, beloved songwriter and the subject of one of our recent cover stories, is taking the 400 Unit back on tour for more dates in support of his excellent June LP, Weathervanes. Isbell and the 400 Unit will be on the road from September 8th onwards until the end of October, including a spell of dates at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. With esteemed openers like Wednesday, Izzy Heltai, S.G. Goodman, and Isbell’s wife, Amanda Shires, the tour will be filled with some memorable one-two punches.
