The Baltimore Orioles are having a moment, and no one is enjoying it more than Joan Jett. The legendary punk rocker sat in with Orioles TV broadcasters Kevin Brown and Ben McDonald during Monday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
Jett became a fan of the Orioles in 1969, after attending a game with her father at the age of 13 (it just so happened that Jim Palmer threw a no-hitter that day). During the broadcast, she discussed her fandom and showed off her immense knowledge of the team. She also tried her hand at some play-by-play and demonstrated how to throw a screwball. You can replay the broadcast below.
Jett is amidst a US tour with her band The Blackhearts. Tickets are available here.
The Orioles currently sit at first place in the AL East. You can find tickets to the O’s and all other MLB games at Subhub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
