My Morning Jacket recently performed their song “Wordless Chorus” at a gig alongside some special guests from the non-profit Songs for Kids.

Songs for Kids is an Atlanta-based organization that brings music mentorship and interactive programs to kids and young adults living with disabilities and illnesses. This isn’t the first time My Morning Jacket have taken part in the fun — they brought out a Songs for Kids star to help them out with “I’m Amazed” at Shaky Knees Festival last year — but it looks like this is one of the larger-scale collaborations the non-profit has set up.

For this performance of their 2005 tune “Wordless Chorus,” My Morning Jacket let their four guest vocalists take center stage, none of whom seemed to have any stage fright as they exchanged turns singing the song’s verses. It’s extremely heartwarming to watch, and the disco ball on set is a nice touch. Watch it below.

Earlier this year, My Morning Jacket welcomed another unexpected guest onstage with them: Animal from the Muppets, along with Maggie Rogers, Margo Price, and John Oates during their Newport Folk Fest set.
