KISS will be playing their final two concerts ever at Madison Square Garden on Friday (December 1st) and Saturday (December 2nd). Ahead of those shows, Mayor Eric Adams has declared November 30th as official “KISS Day” in New York City.
The honor comes as part of as the band’s massive takeover of the Big Apple leading up to the historic shows. As part of the celebration, the Empire State Building will light up in tribute to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band on Thursday night (November 30th), with the lighting synchronized to the KISS classic “Rock & Roll All Nite.”
Among the other events happening this week are a “KISS Night” at the New York Rangers game, free KISS tattoos at Inked NYC, a pop-up store, and much more.
KISS’ Madison Square Garden shows are sold out, but tickets are available via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Fans hoping for the band to welcome back original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss to the stage at the MSG concerts will likely be disappointed. Frehley said in a recent interview that there’s “no chance” he’ll perform at the shows.
