This is not just another Taylor Swift Podcast (Consequence Version). Begun as a way to connect with fellow Swifties during the pandemic lockdown, Good for a Weekend is a bi-monthly series in which Kressie and MK dig into all things Tay-Tay via in-depth discussions, witty commentary, and insightful analysis. Nearly 100 episodes later, the unofficial series has become a haven for “Weekenders” to hear fun, engaging discussions about the world’s biggest pop star’s music, career, and fandom.
“We’re thrilled to keep growing our podcast with Consequence and connect with more Taylor Swift fans around the world,” says Kressie, a writer and stand-up comedian based in Atlanta, Georgia who serves as GFAW’s passionate primary writer and researcher.
“We’ve built a strong community of Swifites over the years, and we can’t wait to meet even more with Consequence’s partnership!” adds MK, an Orlando, Florida-based civil engineer who handles the podcast’s audio engineering.
Every month, listeners are treated to a “Deep Dive” episode, where the Good for a Weekend hosts explore a specific Swift-related topic, whether that be her endless work with Jack Antonoff, the significance of her 4th of July parties, or the evolution of her squad. “The Swift Report” caps off each month with a recap of all the rumors, gossip, and fandom drama spinning around the Taylorverse. Between it all, Weekenders can expect frequent bonus episodes, timely drops in which MK and Kressie provide real-time reactions on the latest T-Swift news, announcements, and releases.
