Spencer Kaufman is the Managing Editor of Heavy Consequence, covering all things metal and hard rock. In the past, he helped launch another major metal website, and has worked as a music editor in New York for the better part of two decades. He once fronted a college punk band, and his favorite concert memory (of many) is catching the legendary Iggy Pop in a stage dive at Irving Plaza.
