Dolly Parton Only Reachable Through Fax — The country legend Dolly Parton has made headlines this month after Reba McEntire came out with the information that she is only reachable through fax. Parton, 77, apparently “does not text” with the soon-to-be Rockstar refusing to use either email or a landline for others to contact her either.
Netflix Raises Subscription Prices — After reporting a gain of millions of subscribers this year, Netflix has begun their plan of increasing the prices of its subscription tiers. Following the company beginning its password sharing suppression, they will now be charging an extra $2 for its now-unavailable-to-new-or-returning-subscribers basic plan, and another $3 for the Premium plan. Standard plans remain untouched.
Holy Grail Returns to Theaters for Anniversary — Beginning in early December, Monty Python’s classic comedy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, will be shown in theaters for its 48 ½-year anniversary. With over 500 theaters across the United States participating in the event, two different versions will be shown: a standard cut, and a “Quote-a-long” version, displaying lines so fans can quote with the film in real time. Tickets for the event are on-sale now, and can be purchased here.
Steve Martin and Martin Short Announce Tour — Stars of the Hulu smash Only Murders in the Building, Steve Martin and Martin Short, have announced a new tour together called “The Dukes of Funnytown!” to begin in mid-2024. Following a string of dates to close out 2023, the two will hit the road together again beginning in Syracuse, New York on May 3rd, with the tour going until mid-June. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.

Peter Gabriel Details First New Album in 21 Years — Following an extended recording hiatus from Peter Gabriel, he has released more details for his first full album of original material in 21 years. Set to be released December 1st, the new album, i/o, has been teased for an extended amount of time, with multiple singles being released including “Panopticom” and “The Court.”
